1951 Research Designed Homes: Living Units
This plan has 800 sf, clerestory windows in the living room, and hall walls that combine with the higher ceilings provide a sense of spaciousnes despite the diminutive footprint. The living room has what was called in other publications a 'garden wall' with windows and access to a back patio. The overall design was almost avant garde in 1951; many of the same details became considerably more popular during the early 1960s.
