Like many house plan companies after WWII, Nationwide which had been in business prior to the War, republished many of its pre-War plans. This small cottage dated back to the 1930s with its tiny Depression Era footprint and modest proportions. It was, nevertheless, a dream come true for GIs and their young families. This plan has only the tiniest hall ... and no wasted space yet has a number of amenities like the large living room with a fireplace.
