1955 National Plan Service "Homes of Individuality"
This
plan, with 1675 square feet, has two full bathrooms, four bedrooms, and
a large open living room that flows into the dining area. Sliding glass
doors in the dining area open onto a terrace. Of the homes in this particular
book, this is the only one that has any mid-century storybook character.
National Plan Service thought enough of it to make it the cover image. "...this is an ideal home for the prospect who wants outdoor living right at his doorstep. Horizontal siding, masonry, plus the use of board and batten onn roof gables provide the exterior eye-appeal of this design. Also note the unusual handling of gable projection on the roof."
