1954 National Plan Service "Prelude to Happiness"

This modern, L-shaped layout has both shed and flat roofs to give it a more interesting roof line. Clerestory windows in the bedrooms add light but allow maximum privacy, while the clerestory windows in the livingroom add light to complement the large street-side window. Though just a 1000 square feet, we think this plan could easily be expanded without compromising the original integrity of its midcentury style.
