Garrison Colonial

1945 Style Trends by National Plan Service

The Garrison Colonial was a variant of the traditional style that became popular during the late 1920s and remained common through the Depression years until after WWII. With its scalloped trim on the cantilevered second story and curved bay window, this particular design is very pretty, but could easily be improved by creating a direct connection from the garage and kitchen access to the back yard.
