The Dover

The Modern design movement of the 1930s emphasized cleaner lines, fewer details. This minimalist approach merged with the Colonial Revival to deliver relatively spartan small homes to the market. The Dover is a perfect example of the Minimal Traditional style. It's a typical two-bedroom, single bath plan of less than 800 sf. This plan has a ceiling height of 8'-0", which is typical of more modern homes.
