The Columbia bungalow was a tried and true design offered by Lewis since the late 1920s. It was offered in three versions in the 1939 catalog. Though the bungalow style was fading in popularity by the 1930s, some plans like this one, because of their cleaner lines, seemed to have a bit more staying power.
