Of the catalogs Lewis put out during the 1930s, 1939 has some of the prettiest drawings. The Cambridge in earlier books was a small home with the English-style steeply pitched gable entry and prominent fireplace; in this catalog, the same elements transform it into a romantic cottage. This plan has three bedrooms with generous rooms for the era.
