One of the hallmarks of the Home Building Plan Service designs is the simple, but functional layouts of the rooms and the practical room flow. This plan, like most in this 1950 book, hovers around the average plan size for the period, but manages to add access to the garage and three bedrooms instead of the usual two. The aesthetic is all mid-century ranch with ganged windows and a low profile.
