The small Cedars plan is a Minimal Traditional, but derives its essential character from the enormously popular Cape Cod style of the late 1930s and 40s. The advantages of such a miniscule home today might be arguable given our expectations for more square footage, but we think it would be perfect for a singleton or young couple with a little Ikea-design moxy.
