In 1951, the Birchwood was a generation old. It had been offered first in four variations in 1930 for $760 freight paid. The original modern bungalow styling remained intact even as the interior was reconfigured over its lifespan. With a decidedly vintage profile by the mid century, the plan was dropped by the time the 1952 catalog was published.
