The Shelburne is an eclectic mix of English and traditional American details. The essential shape is similar to a Cape Cod, which was very popular at the time this plan was designed. It also incorporates the steep forward gable and assymetry common to many of the small English-style houses. The mixed stone and brick is typically seen on the Cotswold cottage style. It's a good sized house with some nice amenities including the bath upstairs and a half bath on the main floor.
