The Dresden plan, offered between 1938 and 1949, is similar to the popular Cape Cod of the 1930s and 40s. We consider it a Minimal Traditional style because of its facing gable and assymetry. For many families, it would have been an ideal plan, especially with the basement. As finances permitted, finishing the upstairs for additional bedrooms would have been part of the plan.
