The Concord, a small brick Cape Cod, could easily have been pulled directly from the small Colonial Revival plans of the 1920s. The graceful entry with its barrel vault and pillars, and symmetrical, well-balanced façade recalls an era that, at the tail end of the Depression, was a time of plenty and prosperity. This is a small, but very optimistic house. It was shown in the Aladdin catalogs from 1937–1952 with only minor changes over the years.
